St. Andrew’s Offers Something Distinctly Different

Rev. Dr. Jane A. Clark

Rev. Dr. Jane A. Clark

I wish to extend a warm welcome to you on behalf of our parish family. St. Andrew Episcopal Church has been a part of the Grayslake community for close to one hundred years. Although we occupy the oldest church building in town, if you hang around for a while, you will discover that here at St. Andrew we have a vision for the future, a vision of our place in bringing about the Kingdom of God in Grayslake, in our country, and in the world.

In a society where megachurches have become commonplace, we offer something distinctively different. In our congregation there are people whose families were among the founding members of the church and others who have just recently arrived in Lake County from other parts of the country. We are young and old, singles and families. St. Andrew is our spiritual home, and we would invite you to make it your home as well.

In a society where megachurches have become commonplace, we offer something distinctively different.

Whether you are new to the area, visiting from out of town, or are just exploring new churches, we welcome you to St. Andrew and invite you to participate in our life of worship and service. You do not have to be a member of the congregation or an Episcopalian to participate in St. Andrew’s programs and ministries for as long and as often as you wish. But, if and when you are interested in joining St. Andrew’s parish family, you will be received with love and joy.

If you are interested in learning more about St. Andrew, the Christian education program, fellowship groups, outreach programs, our how your gifts could be used, please give me a call at the parish office. I look forward to hearing from you.

God’s Blessings on your journey.

Faithfully,
Jane+
