Fall 2019 Adult Christian Education

While we are very much still in the summer season, let me take this opportunity to tell you about our adult Christian Education for the Fall. We will begin on September 15 at 9:00 am in the parish hall.

Our first topics will be the broad theme of "What Anglicans Believe" which is never an easy thing to know! We will use excellent pamphlets published by The Living Church which will be available before we meet for your reading pleasure! Following this we will discuss stewardship on Stewardship Sunday (NO, it's not just about money) and then learn about St. Andrew, our patron saint on a day that we will celebrate with gusto. Stay tuned for more information. The three remaining Sundays of Advent will be devoted to the themes of this glorious season.

Please take these opportunities to learn more about your Christian faith and, along the way, have conversation with your fellow members.

Who is St. Andrew? We will celebrate our patronal festival on December 1. This Sunday is normally the First Sunday of Advent but it is permissible to celebrate one's patronal festival on the Sunday following its weekday observance. There will be only one Mass on this Sunday at 9am in the hopes that the entire community might come together.
