Who we are

St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church has been a part of the Grayslake community for over one hundred and ten years. Although we occupy the oldest church building in town, if you hang around for a while, you will discover that here at St. Andrew’s we have a vision for the future, a vision of our place in bringing about the Kingdom of God in Grayslake, in our country, and in the world.

In a society where megachurches have become commonplace, we offer something distinctively different. In our congregation there are people whose families were among the founding members of the church and others who have just recently arrived in Lake County from other parts of the country. We are young and old, singles and families. St. Andrew is our spiritual home, and we would invite you to make it your home as well.

You can read our full history here.

The Eucharist is at the heart and summit of our life in Christ. Through Word and Sacrament as our strength,

    Our Mission Is To:

Welcome all as family in the name of Christ,

Love one another as Christ loves us,

Share the gifts Christ has shared with us,

    Become the Body of Christ.
